Contractor Position | Evenings (Tues–Fri, 4–7:30 PM)

The Hamilton-Garrett Center for Music & Arts (HGMA) is expanding and is seeking passionate, community-driven music educators to join our team of teaching artists. Based in the Roxbury/Dorchester area, HGMA is committed to nurturing Boston’s next generation of artists through the preservation and celebration of Black music.

 

Ideal candidates will:​

• Have strong musical training (degree in music or in progress)

• Be experienced or interested in teaching K–12 and adult learners

• Be collaborative, punctual, and culturally responsive

• Help plan student concerts and community events

• Embrace HGMA’s mission of education, empowerment, and equity
