The 2023 Give Love: Winter Concert
It's time! Our Give Love season is officially here and we can't wait for you to celebrate with us. Join what will be a wonderful showcase by our Academy students and teachers, the HG Youth Choir + HG Drumline at our annual Give Love: Winter Concert! This is a free concert taking place on December 17th at 6pm at the Historic Charles Street A.M.E. Church where we invite everyone to come and be transformed with the warm yet vibrant embrace of music to put you in the holiday spirit.
While there is no cost to attend, we really appreciate your donations to help us extend the work we do with our youth!
About the HG Youth Choir
Hamilton-Garrett Youth Choir is an all-girls youth choral program for ages 10-18. We are committed to preserving and celebrating Black cultural music through formal choral training and performance.
Under the artistic direction of our Executive Director, Gerami Groover-Flores, the Hamilton-Garrett Youth Choir will host international artists throughout the year to work with, provide music instruction and perform with our choral students.

About the HG Drumline
Established in the Fall of 2022, the Hamilton-Garrett Drumline is a youth percussion and horns ensemble for ages 10-18. Our work is based on preserving and celebrating marching style drumming within Black musical traditions, from New Orleans second-line, Historically Black College and Universities, in addition to folkloric traditions throughout the African Diaspora.
